Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties launched today for Windows and consoles, published by Sega. The final installment of the mainline series to spotlight Kazuma Kiryu as the sole protagonist, Yakuza 3 expands its locales beyond the district of Kamurocho.

Kiryu explores Sunshine Orphanage and the surrounding environment set in the rural Ryukyu Islands of Okinawa. The Dark Ties story expansion follows Yoshitaka Mine's descent into the dark world of organized crime.

The playable demo, providing a glimpse of the Okinawa environment, is currently available for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The PC edition for Windows is hosted on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.


Sega record label Wave Master has scheduled Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties Original Soundtrack for release on March 4th, pressed on four compact discs. Preorders have opened at distributors CDJapan and Playasia.

The three-hour soundtrack spans 108 music tracks, now available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. The Song Collection previously premiered in Japan, featuring vocalist Akiko Wada's rendition of "Bakamitai." The album includes vocal tracks and instrumental variations.

Yakuza 3 for PlayStation 3 debuted in 2009, featuring music by Sega Sound Team members, including Hidenori Shoji, Kentaro Koyama, and Takahiro Kai. The digital soundtrack is available through music streaming platforms.
