Square Enix's Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online livestreams are now archived on YouTube. They include musical performances and discussions covering a selection of the developer's mainstream game franchises.

Coinciding with the release of the Final Fantasy IX Music Blu-Ray, pop singer Ai Takahashi performed the Japanese-language rendition of “Melodies of Life,” composed for the role-playing game by Nobuo Uematsu. The Final Fantasy IX Soundtrack Revival Disc for Blu-Ray players is available for purchase through the online store for North America.

Final Fantasy VII piano renditions performed by Shinya Kiyozuka include "Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII," "Tifa's Theme" and "One-Winged Angel," also composed by Uematsu. The three tracks selected from Final Fantasy VII appear on the recently announced "Square Enix Jazz: Final Fantasy VII at Billboard Live Tokyo." The compact disc release is available for pre-order through the online store for North America and is scheduled to ship in mid-October.

Further acoustic pieces included "Weight of the World" from NieR Automata, composed by Keiichi Okabe, as well as a SaGa series battle theme medley, composed by Kenji Ito. Rounding out the segment, Kiyozuka performed "To Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X, composed by Uematsu.

A full one-hour video is dedicated to the DJ Mix Show by Ram Rider, showcasing electronic dance music arrangements of classic role-playing game themes, beginning with selections from the SQ series of arrangement albums.

The top of the tracklist included "Final Fantasy Fanfare" (Battle SQ remix) from Final Fantasy, "Enraged Battle" (Battle SQ remix) from Final Fantasy Legend, "Battle on the Big Bride" (SQ Chips 2 remix) from Final Fantasy V, "Eyes on Me" (SQ Chips remix) from Final Fantasy VIII, and "Over the Hill" (Cafe SQ remix) from Final Fantasy IX, all composed by Uematsu.

Also included in the SQ series set were "Corridors of Time" (Cafe SQ remix) and "Chrono Trigger" (SQ Chips remix) from Chrono Trigger, along with "Xenogears Suite" (Cafe SQ remix) and "Shevat - The Wind Calls" (SQ Chips remix) from Xenogears, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda.

Outside of the SQ album series, Ram Rider performed Chill Out Arrangement Tracks remixes of "Finale" from Final Fantasy II and "Town Theme" from Final Fantasy Legend, composed by Uematsu. These arrangements were complemented by "Lost Android Mixux" from "NieR Replicant 15 Nightmares," arranged by Okabe, along with "End of the Unknown," arranged by ATOLS, and "Birth of a Wish" from NieR: Automata Arranged & Unreleased Tracks.
