Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner turns 20 today. Published by Konami under the title "Anubis: Zone of the Enders" in Europe and Japan, the mech-combat title for PlayStation 2 follows Dingo Egret as he pilots the Orbital Frame mechanical suit called Jehuty.

Konami's record label Konamistyle published "Zone of the Enders Remix Edition" on compact disc in October of 2012. The EDM arrangement album release coincided with the launch of Zone of the Enders HD Collection, bundling high-definition remasters of the duology for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Previewed on SoundCloud, the album includes electronic dance music arrangements based on HD Collection installments Zone of the Enders and The 2nd Runner, with electronic covers by Uraken, Sota Fujimori, and Eshericks, among other artists. The digital edition of the album can be found on Apple Music.

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner - M∀RS is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Windows through Steam, along with associated VR platforms PlayStation VR and SteamVR.
