Announced today during the RGG Summit livestream, Yakuza 3 Kiwami & Dark Ties by Ryū ga Gotoku Studio will launch for Windows and consoles in February, published by Sega.

The final installment of the mainline series to spotlight Kazuma Kiryu as the sole protagonist, Yakuza 3 expands its locales beyond the district of Kamurocho. Kiryo explores Sunshine Orphanage and the surrounding environment set in the rural Ryukyu Islands of Okinawa.


Dark Ties is a new story expansion centering on Yoshitaka Mine, revealing the character's descent into the dark world of organized crime.Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will launch on February 12th of 2026 for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S consoles, and Windows through Steam.

Originally published in 2009 for PlayStation 3, music for Yakuza 3 is by Sega Sound Team members Hidenori Shoji, Kentaro Koyama, Takahiro Kai, and other artists. The digital soundtrack is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
