The DioField Chronicle launched on September 22ns, published by Square Enix. Developed by Lancarse, the strategy title centers on a strategic real-time battle mechanic, dubbed the "Real Time Tactical Battle" (RTTB) system.

The aesthetic of the fantasy title blends medieval and modern-day influences, rendered in diorama-style visuals. Set in the Kingdom of Alletain on the isle of DioField, battles are waged over control of a precious resource called "Jade," used to power magic weaponry and technology. The player directs a band of elite mercenaries called Blue Fox.

The digital soundtrack by Gears 5 co-composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell and digital artbook are bundled with the Digital Deluxe Edition. Excerpts of all tracks are streaming on digital music store Ototoy. A video segment with the composers, and crossfade soundtrack trailer, can be viewed on YouTube.

The DioField Chronicle is available for Windows through Steam, along with Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Character design is by Lord of Vermillion series illustrator Taiki, with concept art by Final Fantasy XV art director Isamu Kamikokuryo, and scenario design by Yuu Ohshima of Fire Emblem Awakening.
