Stylized first-person shooter Superhot, where time moves only when you move, commemorates seven years of release this week.

Development by the Superhot Team, the initial release for Windows, Mac and Linux was funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign. Crowdfunding for the independently developed strategic FPS was led by creative director Piotr Iwanicki and lead programmer Jakub Witczak.

Superhot VR debuted in 2017 for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR platforms. The expansion Superhot: Mind Control Delete launched in July of 2020, broadening the storyline and incorporating feedback from nearly four years of Early Access development.

Superhot is also available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The 20-track Superhot: Mind Control Delete soundtrack by drum'n'bass producer Zardonic can be downloaded through Steam, and is available for streaming on Spotify.
