Ordyne for TurboGrafx-16 celebrates anniversary of release
Namco's PC-Engine port of Namco System 2 arcade game Ordyne launched on this date in 1989. The horizontal scrolling shoot-em-up was localized for the TurboGrafx-16 home console in English-language regions the following year.

The 31-track album is part of the Namco Legendary series of classic soundtrack releases, published by Bandai Namco Game Music. Streaming of select tracks is available via Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited. Music by Shinji Hosoe is previewed in a crossfade trailer, via Sweeprecord YouTube channel.

Arcade Archives ORDYNE is currently available for PS4 and Nintendo Switch consoles, published by Hamster Corporation.

Time for some tricky, spinning shooting with Dr. TOMARI and CHIN! Operation: Rescue KANA begins now! "ORDYNE" is a shooting game released by NAMCO LIMITED (current Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.) in 1988. Players take control of Doctor TOMARI and his assistant CHIN to rescue the doctor's lover KANA from the villainous KUBOTA. The key to the game is using the crystals you get from defeating enemies to buy powerful weapons.
