Vanillaware's 2D action role-playing game Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir for PlayStation 4 has joined the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog.

Inspired by Norse mythology, the sidecrolling beat-em-up was originally co-directed by George Kamitani of Muramasa: The Demon Blade, while the Leifthrasir HD remake features his involvement as producer. The artist's character designs harken back to the visual style of Sega Saturn title Princess Crown.

A live performance of the main theme is streaming on the Atlustube YouTube channel. Excerpts of all music tracks from the original and HD remake soundtrack albums can be sampled on digital music store Ototoy.
