Octopath Traveler II Original Soundtrack, composed by Yasunori Nishiki, has debuted on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. The CD set ships from distributor CDJapan with a booklet with comments by producer Masashi Takahashi, and director Keisuke Miyauchi of Acquire Corp.

The original Octopath pioneered the "HD-2D" development framework, producing a distinctive visual aesthetic that combines sprite-based, two-dimensional character art and three-dimensional polygonal terrains. Other "HD-2D" titles include this year's LIVE A LIVE remake, and the forthcoming remake of Dragon Quest III.

Octopath Traveler II launched worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PlayStation 5, and Windows through Steam. Cover illustration is by character designer Naoki Ikushima.
