Typhoon Studios' upbeat sci-fi adventure game Journey to the Savage Planet invites player to take on the role of an employee of a middling interstellar exploration company, exploring an alien world from a first-person perspective.

Journey to the Savage Planet: Employee of the Month Edition arrived earlier today on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions will receive the updated release as a free upgrade. A new launch trailer can now be viewed on YouTube.

The upgraded port introduces 4k graphics, more photomode options, and the inclusion of the previously released Hot Garbage DLC. The downloadable content can be explored upon reaching the Elevated Realm biome and following the in-game instructions on accessing the new territory via the transporter in the Javelin.

Journey to the Savage Planet is also available for Nintendo Switch and Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The digital soundtrack by Shadow of the Tomb Raider composer Brian D'Oliveira, recorded and mixed at La Hacienda Creative, Montreal, is available for streaming through SoundCloud.
