The Square Enix store for North America and Europe has opened preorders for the "Wave 2" reprint of four-disc "Final Fantasy XIV: Vinyl LP Box." Shipping from the publisher and distributor CDJapan is estimated for the end of June in 2022.

The vinyl soundtrack set contains four analog records decorated with illustrations by KUROIMORI. Each disc features music from one of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game's expansions. The four individual analog records (for A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers) are also available for shipping separately.

An introductory video "Masayoshi Soken Talks About Vinyl Records" and a trailer previewing the four featured Final Fantasy XIV LPs are both viewable on YouTube. Music for the game is by Soken, Nobuo Uematsu, Tsuyoshi Sekito, Naoshi Mizuta, and other artists.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PS4, Windows and Mac operating systems, and is in development for PlayStation 5.
