Preorders have opened for Dawntrail: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack, shipping on Music Blu-ray from the Square Enix store for North America and Europe. Slated for release on October 30th in Japan, the album also ships from distributors CDJapan and Play-Asia.

The previously published 7-inch vinyl single contains the "Open Sky - The Theme from Dawntrail," performed by composer Masayoshi Soken's band The Primals. Vocals are performed by Amanda Achen, with lyrics by Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Kathryn Cwynar. The single follows "Endwalker - Footfalls," performed by Sam Carter of the UK metal band Architects.

The MMORPG expansion launched in July for Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, along with Mac and Windows through Steam. Excerpts of various music tracks are streaming on the official soundtrack album website.
