Publisher Square Enix has uploaded excerpts from each track of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Acoustic Arrangements album, scheduled for release on November 25 in Japan. A brief trailer is on the publisher's youTube channel.

The ten-track compact disc contains renditions of music from the PlayStation 4 title, performed by pianists Mariko Taguchi and Ai Kuwabara, violinists Atsuki Yoshida and Mei Mishina, and an ensemble of artists. The reinterpreted acoustic pieces include “Prelude Medley,” composed by Uematsu and arranged by Kevin Penkin, along with “Fight On Medley,” composed by Uematsu and arranged by Octopath Traveler composer Yasunori Nishiki.

Last year marked the debut of the Acoustic Arrangements album series, with the publication of the "Square Enix Acoustic Arrangements" album, featuring music from the SaGa and Final Fantasy series of games. Arrangers Kenta Higashiohji, Taro Makida and Atsuki Yoshida return to offer their interpretations of the VII Remake music score.

Additional arrangements are contributed by Yuya Mori and Ai Kuwabara. Music for the album is composed by Uematsu, Nishiki, Masashi Hamauzu, Mitsuto Suzuki and Tadayoshi Makino. Preorders are available through the Square Enix online store for North America.
