Square Enix has published the live recording of the 35th anniversary concert "Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy Coral." The two-disc album ships from the Square Enix store for Europe.

The Coral concert, conducted by Arnie Roth, took place last month at the Tokyo International Forum Hall and the Hyogo Performing Arts Center, featuring guest vocalists Emiko Shiratori and RIKKI. The program was specially curated by composer Nobuo Uematsu.

Disc one of the live concert recording CD is dedicated to the first six titles in the role-playing game series, including a medley of music from the 8-bit Famicom trilogy, "Eternal Wind" from Final Fantasy III. "Red Wings" and "Kingdom of Baron" from Final Fantasy IV, followed by the main theme. "Home, Sweet Home" and "Music Box," followed by "A New World" represent Final Fantasy V. The disc ends with themes from Final Fantasy VI and a medley of battle tracks from all six games.

The second disc of the CD release begins with an orchestral rendition of "Liberi Fatali" from Final Fantasy VIII, followed by "Ragnarok" from Final Fantasy XI MMORPG. Arrangements of "Aerith's Theme" and "One-Winged Angel" represent the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack. These renditions are followed by the "Final Fantasy Main Theme" performed with a choir. Vocal tracks include "Suteki da ne" from Final Fantasy X and "Melodies of Life" from Final Fantasy IX.
