Ys X: Proud Nordics scheduled for release on February 20th
NIS America will publish action role-playing game Ys X: Proud Nordics in February, implementing improved graphical performance and quality of life updates.

The story takes place following the events of Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished. Protagonist Adol travels to Obelia Bay and encounters a dispute between two powerful warring factions. In battle, players can swap between controlling Adol and the infamous pirate princess Karja Balta on the fly. Activating "combination mode," both Adol and Karja's attacks can be guided at the same time.

Ys X: Proud Nordics will launch on February 20th for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck. Additional content includes the Öland Island territory, the Muspelheim dungeon, and the Mana String action for swinging to faraway areas.

Ys X: Nordics is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Windows via GOG.com. Nihon Falcom's Original Soundtrack is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited, composed by Falcom Sound Team jdk.

This journey takes place in the northern islands collectively known as Obelia Gulf.In this harsh land, the young adventurer Adol Christin encounters the Normans, a seafaring people, and is quickly drawn into the conflict between them, the residents of Obelia Gulf, and the Griegr, undying monsters with a mysterious agenda.

Partnering up with the Norman warrior Karja, Adol must take to the waters of Obelia Gulf, navigating vast stretches of ocean, consulting maritime maps, and even getting into naval battles with enemy ships.
