Ys III: Wanderers from Ys commemorates 34th anniversary of launch

Today, Nihon Falcom commemorates the 34th anniversary of launch of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys for the PC-8801 personal computer.

The action role-playing game debuted on July 21st of 1989, featuring music by Falcom Sound Team jdk. The X68000 port's soundtrack album is streaming on Spotify and YouTube Music.

A remake of the top-down action role-playing game was developed by Nihon Falcom in 2005 for Windows and was later ported to the PlayStation Portable console. French publisher Wayô Records pressed the Ys: The Oath In Felghana soundtrack album on purple and red marble colored vinyl.

Both The Oath In Felghana and Wanderers from Ys scores are represented in the physical publication. The 46-track, three-disc vinyl set also ships from distributor Fangamer in Tucson, while the digital soundtrack is available for streaming on Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.
