Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition soundtrack preorders open

Action role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles launched for Nintendo Wii in June of 2010, and was ported to the 3DS portable console in 2015. Developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo, the Nintendo Switch remaster launched in May of 2020.

Preorders for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Original Soundtrack have opened at distributors CDJapan and Play-Asia. Procyon Studio has scheduled the physical release of the album for August 2nd, shipping on five compact discs. Containing 99 music tracks in total, the album includes 54 arrangements unique to the Nintendo Switch remaster and eight original compositions from the "Future Connected" epilogue.

Music for the game is by Yoko Shimomura, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Manami Kiyota, in collaboration with TOMOri Kudo, Kenji Hiramatsu, and CHiCO of ACE. A crossfade trailer can be viewed on the Procyon YouTube channel.
