The 30th Anniversary Edition downloadable contents include the 30th Anniversary Soundtrack Collection. The Creators' Picks selection is streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. A crossfade trailer is streaming on the Virtua Fighter YouTube channel.
Sega published the "Virtua Fighter 5 Official Sound" album in July of 2012, streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. "Final Showdown Official Sound" adds music composed for the update introducing new characters stages, costumes, and animations.
Music from the fighting game is by Tatsutoshi Narita, Shinichi Goto, Fumio Ito, Tomoya Koga, and Naoyuki Machida of Sega Sound Team. The Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. opening movie features vocals by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi.
