Sci-fi strategy game The Banished Vault launched today for Windows and Mac through Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
Developer Lunar Division's resource management strategy game revolves around space travel on the Auriga Vault, an interstellar gothic monastery crewed by the last remaining exiles of an apocalyptic disaster. The developers challenge players to explore procedurally generated solar systems, harvest resources, and construct outposts in orbit and on planet surfaces to ensure the survival of your crew. An introduction narrated by designer Nic Tringali can be viewed on publisher Bithell Games YouTube channel.
The dark, atmospheric music score for the game is by Paul Kilduff-Taylor (nervous_testpilot) and Oliver Horton (Dreamtrak).
