Developed by Free Lives, Terra Nil for Nintendo Switch has launched, published by Devolver Digital. The environmental strategy game challenges players to transform a barren wasteland into a thriving, balanced ecosystem.

The degraded landscape of Terra Nil is restored by recycling uninhabited buildings, cleansing the soil, planting trees, and reintroducing wildlife. Featuring procedurally generated landscapes in four region types—river valley, desolate island, volcanic glacier and flooded city—each playthrough promises a fresh and unpredictable experience.

Devolver posted an hourlong music preview, composed by French ambient music composer Meydän. The 34-track album is available for purchase through Steam and the Epic Games Store in .mp3 and .wav formats. The digital soundtrack is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Terra Nil previously launched through Netflix and for Windows, Mac and Linus through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

From the product page:
[Deluxe Edition includes] the soothing original soundtrack by Meydän and a beautifully illustrated Digital Artbook. The Digital Artbook shows works-in-progress, concept thumbnails of buildings, close-ups of some of the game’s hand-painted textures, and the different directions that the art took before resulting in what ended up in the game.
