Bandai Namco publishes Tales of the Tempest digital soundtrack

Namco published the first installment in the Tales Of action role-playing game series 27 years ago. To celebrate, the newly founded Bandai Namco Game Music label has published the digital soundtracks for numerous installments in the franchise.

Developed by Dimps and Namco Tales Studio, portable action role-playing game Tales of the Tempest launched for Nintendo DS in October of 2006, exclusively in Japan. Avex Trax published the soundtrack album the following year on two compact discs, bundling narrated audio drama with the music score by series composer Motoi Sakuraba.

The 29-track digital soundtrack is now available for streaming on Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. A "Memoria" anniversary trailer can be viewed on the the "Tales Of" YouTube channel.

The beast-like people of Ramorn once thrived in the continent of Alleura. But after losing a war a century ago, they were labeled Lycanths and driven from the land.

When protagonist Caius's hometown of Feln is attacked by monsters, his stepfather Ramlas transforms into a beast and fights them off. Exposed as a Ramorn, he is taken by the Inquisition. Caius and his childhood friend Rubia decide to pursue the inquisitors and save him.

When they reach their destination, they join up with new friends Tilkis, Forest, and Arria. Together they will uncover the conspiracy hidden within their land's fabricated history.
