The PlayStation 3 action role-playing game debuted in August of 2016, sharing a geographical setting with Tales of Zestiria, set one thousand years in the past. Quality-of-life updates for the remaster include a destination icon and the ability to toggle on and off enemy encounters.
The soundtrack by Motoi Sakuraba and Takeshi Asakawa is available through streaming platforms, published by Bandai Namco Game Music. Spacelab9 pressed the album on double vinyl, containing 23 music tracks from the base game and five bonus tracks from the "Artorias of the Abyss" downloadable contents. The two-disc "Phantom Rose" variant ships from distributor Paladin Vinyl.
Developed by D.A.G Inc., Tales of Berseria Remastered will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows through Steam.
