System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster to launch on Thursday
Nightdive Studios' System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will launch this Thursday, June 26th. The release date trailer is streaming on the PlayStation YouTube channel.

Nightdive's high-definition remaster of the action role-playing game utilizes the Kex Engine for adjustable field-of-vision and post-processing effects. Added features include cross-play multiplayer co-op, mod support, and fifty achievements to unlock.

The studio's deep dive interview with Terri and Eric Brosius delves into their contributions to sound design at Looking Glass Studios. Original music is composed by Josh Randall (aka Robotkid) and Ramin Djawadi. The soundtrack composed in 1999 is available for purchase with System Shock 2 (Classic) via GOG.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will launch for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. The PC edition is available for preorder via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
