Musician Stewart Copeland has published a compilation of music tracks and unpublished themes written for Insomniac Games' Spyro the Dragon series. The 49-track album is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, Amazon Music Unlimited and Apple Music platforms.
In 1977, Copeland formed rock band The Police in London as drummer, with guitarist Henry Padovani, and vocalist and songwriter Sting. The Police recorded numerous hit singles, including "Roxanne," "Message in a Bottle," "Don't Stand So Close to Me," and "Every Breath You Take," recording their final studio album in 1983.
The Spyro digital album features 23 tracks from Copeland's 1998 score for Sony PlayStation platformer Spyro the Dragon, 11 tracks from sequel Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, 7 tracks from Spyro: Year of the Dragon, and two themes written for the 2018 Reignited Trilogy remasters, along with five unused tracks.
