Publisher Ubisoft Music has released "Songs of the Seas Vol. 1 & 2" through music streaming platforms, compiled in two separate volumes. The Skull and Bones sea shanties, performed by the pirate crew during gameplay, are composed from scratch and adapted from traditional folk shanties by Seán Dagher.

Music is performed by The Busking Barnacles. Folk singer Kate Bevan-Baker appears on "Against The Horde," "The Helm," and "The Ghost Ship." Other lead performers include Shaurya Ahuja on "The Great Shadow," Clayton Kennedyon "Les Frères Hubac," Chih-Ying Lay on "Li Tian Ning," and Nicolas Laflamme on "Commander Zhang."

Skull and Bones Original Game Soundtrack by Grammy nominated multi-platinum producer Tom Holkenborg (Junkie_XL) was published two years ago, this month. Development on Ubisoft Singapore's original IP began over a decade ago as a massively-multiplayer expansion for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, evolving over time into a standalone open-world naval action RPG.


Launched in February of 2024, the campaign invites players to sail the Indian Ocean on a customizable pirate ship, plundering trade routes in single-player or co-op play. The separate PvP mode, Disputed Waters, allows up to five players to engage in in tactical marine battles.

Rise of the Kingpins Original Game Soundtrack by Stephen Lukach, from the post-launch live-service content, is also streaming on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited, published by Ubisoft Music. Most recently, the newest season, Eye of the Beast, introduced further gameplay updates.

Skull and Bones is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Premium Edition includes the digital art book and Selected Game Soundtrack.
