Preorders have opened at Laced Records for the Silent Hill 2 vinyl soundtrack, available in deluxe 6LP and double vinyl editions. Artwork for the album is by Bloober Team.

Earlier today, Konami published Silent Hill 2 for Windows through Steam and GOG. Bloober Team's remake of the PlayStation 2 survival horror title follows protagonist James Sunderland as he visits the small town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his deceased wife Mary.

Original and arranged music for the game is composed by Akira Yamaoka. Bloober Team audio and music director Arkadiusz Reikowski served as co-composer on the score. Published by Konami Digital Entertainment, Silent Hill 2 Original Soundtrack -2024- Extra Edition is available through streaming platforms, spanning over 90 music tracks.

The Dev Diaries' audio-focused behind-the-scenes video "How Silence Turns Fog Into Fear" features commentary by Reikowski, creative director Mateusz Lenart, senior sound designer Mikolaj Buszko, and lead technical sound designer Filip Zegleń.

Soundtrack album imports, shipping on three compact discs, are available domestically through distributor Play-Asia. Silent Hill 2 previously launched for Windows through Steam and PlayStation 5 consoles. The launch trailer and a fifty-minute soundtrack preview video can be viewed on Konami's YouTube channel.
