Atlus has published single "Battle - Marici," extending the Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance soundtrack. Marici of the Kishin race can be recruited and unlocked for fusion by completing the subquest “The Guardian of Light,” added this week in the Ver. 1.0.3 update.

The Original Soundtrack premiered in June on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited streaming platforms. The album spans 89 music tracks, with a total runtime of over four hours.

The Vengeance expansion includes the base game's scenario—now termed the Canon of Creation—alongside downloadable contents and quality of life improvements. A save-anywhere option allows player less reliance on returning to leyline founts, while cutscenes can be sped up or skipped. Among the forty additional demons, designs include original creations and enemy designs inherited from prior franchise entries.


Newly introduced is a brand-new route, called the Canon of Vengeance. The protagonist, known as the Nahobino, will encounter a mysterious woman named Yoko Hiromine wandering Da'at, and clash with demon Lilith, the leader of the Qadištu. To challenge the added content, a level cap of 150 is now attainable once certain criteria are met.

Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is available for Windows through Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck, along with Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Music for the expanded edition of the role-playing game is composed by Atlus Sound Team members Ryota Kozuka and Toshiki Konishi.
