Shadow Complex, the sidescrolling Metroidvania title by ChAIR Entertainment, was published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 console fourteen years ago, on this date.

The open world polygonal 2.5D platformer propels lost hiker Jason Fleming into the hollows of government conspiracy, surrounding a rogue paramilitary group called The Restoration. Shadow Complex Remastered, verified for use with the Steam Deck, launched in May of 2016. The enhanced port added graphical enhancements, more dynamic melee take-downs, and Achievements and Master Challenges.

The remastered edition is currently available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, along with Windows and Mac through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Superfan DLC Pack on Steam includes exclusive art, comic book author Peter David's cinematic script, and the Original Score, composed and orchestrated by Josh Aker and Isreal Curtis.
