Square Enix has launched SaGa Frontier Remastered. A physical release is planned for Asian regions, including both Japanese text and English-language localization options.

Featuring enhanced visuals and additional content, the remastered edition of the role-playing game is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows, along with Andoid and iOS devices. Illustrations are by Tomomi Kobayashi and music for the game is by series composer Kenji Ito.

Produced and directed by Akitoshi Kawazu, SaGa Frontier debuted in Japan on the Sony PlayStation console in 1997 and received an English-language localization the following year. Prior to release, a preview video of the title was included in a sampler disc bundled with Tobal No. 1, alongside a playable demo of Final Fantasy VII and trailers for Final Fantasy Tactics and Bushido Blade.

Publisher DigiCube pressed the soundtrack album to three compact discs the year of SaGa Frontier's publication. The three-hour and thirty-minute digital soundtrack is available for streaming on the Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music platforms.
