Palworld soundtrack by Tatsuya Yano premieres on streaming platforms
Coinciding with launch, developer Pocketpair published Palworld Original Game Soundtrack though Steam, available in FLAC format lossless audio. Arriving in January of 2024, the multiplayer, open world survival and crafting game became a surprise hit, selling two million units within 24 hours.

The instrumental album, composed by Tatsuya Yano, is now available through Spotify and other streaming platforms. A video upload previously premiered on YouTube Music, coinciding with the first anniversary of release. Popular highlights include battle track “Engraved in Myth” and main theme “Theme of Palworld.”

The composer's multi-instrumentalist background involves the use of piano, bass, tin whistle, and bodhrán, having studied abroad in Ireland during college and participating in sessions with local musicians.

Prior to entering the game industry, Yano participated as a student of sound design in 2010 in the Nintendo Game Seminar. Teams developed a complete Nintendo DS game as part of the company's free practical training program, which was overseen by instructors at Nintendo's Tokyo office.

From 2015, the musician contributed composition, arrangement, lyrics, and sound design as a member of the Gust Sound Team, contributing to Koei Tecmo Games' Atelier series. Following his departure in 2018, he joined music production and management company LOVE ANNEX.

Palworld is available for MacOS 14.0 and later, along with PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S. The Windows PC edition is on Steam, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
