Developed by Douze Dixièmes, the platforming Metroidvania follows a nimble robot through a gigantic labyrinth. Players unravel the mysteries of the Vessel, an enormous technological structure overgrown with lush vegetation, while fending off rogue machines.
The music score by French composer and sound designer Nicolas Gueguen features "ambient melodies, synthwave tones, groovy rhythms and live recorded choir." The digital soundtrack is hosted on Bandcamp, with mastering by Sebastien Houot, also available for streaming via the Kid Katana YouTube channel.
MIO: Memories in Orbit is also available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, consoles, published by Focus Entertainment. The Windows PC edition is on Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
