Marathon Original Soundtrack Volume I & Volume II debut on Spotify
Developed by Bungie, team-based first-person extraction shooter Marathon has launched, available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows through Steam. The Original Soundtrack, Volume I: Somewhere in the Heavens and Volume II: They Are Waiting, are available on streaming platforms.

A twenty-minute behind-the-scenes introduction to the dark, sci-fi world can be viewed on the developer's YouTube channel. "Vision of Marathon" includes commentary from music composer Ryan Lott, founding member of the American experimental band Son Lux.

Marathon invites players to scavenge the lost colony of Tau Ceti IV as a bio-cybernetic Runner, detailed in the release date announcement post. "As you complete contracts for each of the six factions, you’ll learn more about their identities, motivations, and rivalries as you work together to uncover the mysteries of Tau Ceti’s fate."

Launch cinematic music video, set to "In Death We've Just Begun ft. Poppy and Son Lux," is streaming on YouTube Music, alongside single "Timeleach."
