Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered planned for release in 2027
Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered will launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC through Steam. The remastered compilation is currently in development at Saber Interactive, in partnership with IO Interactive.

Comprised of Hitman: Codename 47 (2000), Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (2002), and Hitman: Contracts (2004), the trilogy will be reimagined with upgraded character models, enhanced environments, and high-resolution textures.

An instant Graphics Toggle allows for seamless switching between the original graphical presentation and the enhanced visuals. In addition, photo mode will build on the design of Saber’s feature from the Tomb Raider remasters.


Developed by IO Interactive, the debut installment in the Hitman franchise will be appearing on consoles for the first time. Hitman: Codename 47 Original Soundtrack by trilogy composer Jesper Kyd is available through streaming platforms. The Windows PC title joined the GOG Preservation Program back in October.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin for Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube refined the stealth assassin gameplay of the original. Players could now execute non-lethal knockouts, while foes were capable of detecting disguises upon close examination.

The third installment in the Hitman franchise launched in 2004 for Windows, PlayStation 2, and Xbox consoles. The stealth action game served as a sequel to Hitman 2, while also including remastered adaptations of several missions from Codename 47. Double vinyl soundtracks of all three series installments, composed by Jesper Kyd, ship from Laced Records.
