Wayô Records in France has published the Grandia II Memorial Soundtrack, composed and arranged by Noriyuki Iwadare, on vinyl and compact disc. The analog record release also ships from distributors Light in the Attic in Seattle and PixelCrib in Australia.

Developed by Game Arts for the Sega Dreamcast in the year 2000, the role-playing game received a remastered release in 2019 for Nintendo Switch and Windows. Newly illustrated cover art for the album release is by character designer Youshi Kanoe.

Wayô has prepared a 16-page booklet for the soundtrack release, containing illustrations by Kanoe and commentary by Iwadare, vocalist Kaori Kawasumi, scenario writer Kei Shigema, and designer Atsuko Nishida.

The vinyl edition ships on three marble color discs, featuring 40 music tracks from the game. The compact disc edition contains 46 tracks on two CDs. A half-hour excerpt can be previewed on YouTube, courtesy of the publisher.
