Laced Records presses Doom: The Dark Ages soundtrack on vinyl
Laced Records of London has opened preorders for the Doom: The Dark Ages vinyl soundtrack. The album is available both as a four-disc boxset and deluxe double vinyl selection. Artwork is by id Software and Grzegorz Domaradzki.

Developed by id Software, the first-person shooter serves as the prequel to Doom (2016). The Original Game Soundtrack by Finishing Move Inc. of The Callisto Protocol is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Previously previewed excerpts include trailer theme "Infernal Chasm," menu theme "When The Shadows First Lengthened," and "Unholy Siege." The 35-track album is by composers Alex Klingle, Brian Trifon (Trifonic), Jay Wiltzen, and audio director Brian Lee White.

Doom: The Dark Ages is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store, published by Bethesda Softworks. The Premium Edition includes the digital artbook and soundtrack app.

From the Laced product page:
Elements of thrash metal, modern deathcore, early doom metal and Swedish black metal bleed into brutal guitar breakdowns and downtempo grooves, while traditional folk instruments such as the Nordic bass tagelharpa, balalaika and massive animal hide drums are combined with modern synths for a dark and gritty sound that feels raw, primal and unmistakably DOOM.
