Doom: The Dark Ages Revelations soundtrack debuts on Spotify
Bethesda Softworks has published Doom: The Dark Ages Revelations Original Game Soundtrack. Composed by Finishing Move Inc., the soundtrack from the major campaign expansion spans 16 music tracks by composers Alex Klingle, Brian Trifon (Trifonic), Jay Wiltzen, and audio director Brian Lee White.

The album leads off with a track named after the introductory level in the Revelations campaign. With his Shield Saw smashed, The Doom Slayer confronts demons from his past in a frozen-over Purgatory. A mysterious ally known as the Wretch, a crafter of the Praetor Suit, rescues him from certain death. Offering him the Chain Spear, the Slayer enters the Proving Grounds with a broader array of combat and traversal options.

Developed by id Software, the first-person shooter serves as the prequel to Doom (2016). Laced Records of London previously published the Original Soundtrack on vinyl, featuring a blend of heavy metal, industrial metal and darkly ambient, medieval fantasy elements.


As described by Bethesda Gear, "Elements of thrash metal, modern deathcore, early doom metal and Swedish black metal bleed into brutal guitar breakdowns and downtempo grooves, while traditional folk instruments such as the Nordic bass tagelharpa, balalaika and massive animal hide drums are combined with modern synths for a dark and gritty sound that feels raw, primal and unmistakably DOOM."

The album is available both as a four-disc boxset and deluxe double vinyl selection. The physical release ships via the publisher, along with distributor Arcline Store in the United States. Artwork is by id Software and Grzegorz Domaradzki.

Doom: The Dark Ages is included with Game Pass Premium, available for Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and Windows PC, published by Bethesda Softworks. The Dark Ages is also available for PlayStation 5 consoles, along with Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck.
