SaGa Band Arrangement albums by Destiny 8 debut on streaming platforms
All three volumes of the SaGa Band Arrangement album series by Destiny 8 are now available through streaming platforms. Headed by SaGa series composer Kenji Ito, the band formed in 2020, with a mini-live concert broadcast during that year's Romancing SaGa Re;Universe 2nd Anniversary event.

Commemorating the SaGa series’ 30th anniversary, the debut album features Kenji Ito and Noriyuki Kamikura on keyboard, Sorao Mori and Zenya Sakata on guitar, Harunosuke Ikejiri on bass, and Toshiharu Okajima on drums. In addition to rock band covers of the composer's music from the SaGa series, Kamikura arranged compositions from Makai Toushi SaGa by Nobuo Uematsu, SaGa 3 by Ryuji Sasai, and SaGa Frontier 2 by Masashi Hamauzu.

In 2021, a music video featuring "Encounter with the Seven Heroes" from Romancing SaGa 2 premiered on the Square Enix YouTube channel, directed by Tomoya Sakai. The record label published SaGa Band Arrangement Album Vol.2 later that year, coinciding with the D8 Summer Festival collaboration event. Cover illustration is by Romancing SaGa Re;Universe pixel artist M.Nishimura.

Vol.3 was announced during the mobile game's 4th Anniversary Official Live Broadcast. The album premiered in 2023, featuring vocalist KOCHO on “Igomahl the Harlequin.” Cover illustration is by SaGa: Scarlet Grace character artist Satoshi Kuramochi.
