Developed by ZDT Studio, the 2.5D-perspective puzzle-platformer stars a young octopus. The unlikely hero uses camouflage and blasts of ink to navigate an underwater world filled with strange sea creatures and environmental puzzles, until a strange beam of light transports Darwin from his aquatic abode.
Featured single "Back to the Sea" from the soundtrack was written and produced by Franck Lascombe, performed by indie-pop group FlyPop. A music video produced by ZDT Studio can be viewed on Konami's YouTube channel, incorporating in-game footage. Darwin’s Paradox! Original Soundtrack is scheduled for release on April 3rd, courtesy of Milan Records.
