Square Enix's digital soundtrack for the PlayStation roguelike Chocobo's Dungeon 2 is available through music streaming services Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music.

Squaresoft localized Chocobo's Dungeon 2 for English-language regions in late 1999, marking the series' debut in the West. Unlike most Final Fantasy locales, where the titular horse-sized avian originated, the Mystery Dungeon series gameplay revolves around the exploration of randomly-generated dungeons.

Music for Chocobo's Dungeon 2 involved the collaboration of multiple artists.Romancing SaGa composer Kenji Ito arranges Uematsu's chocobo theme in the opening scene and on "March de Chocobo." Nobuo Uematsu's moogle theme from Final Fantasy VI and "Theme of Love" from Final Fantasy IV serve as callbacks to the Super Nintendo role-playing games.

The remainder of the 45-track album is composed by Yasuhiro Kawakami (Final Fantasy Mystic Quest), Tsuyoshi Sekito (Brave Fencer Musashi) and Kumi Tanioka (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles). The soundtrack for Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon and the "Chocobo Happy Christmas" single by Masashi Hamauzu are streaming on Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited.
