Wayô Records has launched the Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund Across the Kosmos: Xenosaga Piano Collection, officially licensed by Bandai Namco Entertainment through music copyright administrator Septima Ley.

The solo piano album reinterprets music from Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht, composed by of Yasunori Mitsuda. Across the Kosmos is performed by Benyamin Nuss on a Steinway D grand piano, recorded in Koln, Germany. Arrangements are by Hiroyuki Nakayama of the Final Fantasy Piano Opera series, in collaboration with Across the Worlds: Chrono Cross Wayô Piano Collection arrangers Mariam Abounnasr and Akio Noguchi.

Illustrations for the album are designed by Kiyoshi Arai. Kickstarter proceeds fund the release of the digital format, physical CD, and vinyl LP editions, planned for delivery in Q4 of 2024.
