Preorders have opened at publisher Streaming Arrow Records and distributor PixelCrib in Australia for Ys I & II Chronicles Original Soundtrack. The PlayStation Portable remake of action role-playing game compilation Ys I & II Complete launched in July of 2009.

In Ys Chronicles, Adol the Red survives a shipwreck off the island of Esteria and arrives ashore at the walled town of Minea. A fortuneteller named Sara Tovah instructs the swordsman to gather the six Books of Ys to combat the roaming bands of monsters that have overrun Esteria. She directs him to seek out her aunt Jeba in Zepik Village to search for the first Book housed in a dungeon beneath the Solomon Shrine.

The vinyl release, pressed on four 12-inch 180-gram analog records, includes the complete soundtrack and an eight-page art booklet with translations of "Victory!!" and "In Adventure World" lyrics. The compact disc edition contains the full soundtrack on two discs and also includes the full-color art booklet with and translations of lyrics.

Falcom Sound Team jdk's Ys I & II Chronicles digital soundtrack album is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. Music is composed by Yuzo Koshiro, Mieko Ishikawa, Hideya Nagata, and Masaya Hashimoto, with PSP remake arrangements by Yukihiro Jindo.
