Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile slated for release on September 25th
Developed by Microids Studio Lyon, Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile will launch for Windows and consoles on September 25th.

The reimagining of the celebrated fiction novel, starring Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, is set in Egypt in the 1970s. David Chomard, CEO of the development studio, mentioned, "We have raised the level of difficulty with more complex puzzles and offered more freedom in the progression of the investigation. In addition, the adventure weaves the stories of Hercule Poirot and Jane Royce, the new detective, even more closely together."

Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles, along Windows through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The Limited Edition physical release includes a 48-page art book and digital soundtrack. The story trailer is streaming on the Microids YouTube channel, while a playable demo is available via Steam.

Microids' previously released Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express features a music score composed by Jean-Luc Briançon, assisted by Roman Perreton, in collaboration with guest musicians at Studio Nuage7. The album is streaming on Apple Music and YouTube Music.

From the Steam product page:
In Death on the Nile, a peaceful cruise on the Nile is disrupted by a terrible crime. Thankfully, famous detective Hercule Poirot is onboard. Meanwhile, a private detective is tracking a murderer, leading her from London to Majorca, New York, and finally to Egypt.

The two investigations collide at Abu Simbel. The dynamic duo will solve a complex case full of twists and turns. But the story doesn’t end with the book, and it still holds many mysteries and twists, even for Agatha Christie fans.
