Designed by Masanobu Endō, Namco published vertical scrolling shoot-em-up Xevious for arcades in 1982. Hamster Corporations' Arcade Archives XEVIOUS is currently available for Nintendo Switch

Published by Namco Sounds in January of 2013, Xevious 30th Anniversary Tribute album is now available through streaming platforms. Arrangements for the tribute album are by Namco composers AJURIKA, Taku Inoue, LindaAI-CUE, Hiroshi Okubo, Junichi Nakatsuru, Yuu Miyake, and Ryo Watanabe. A cross-fade trailer can be viewed on YouTube.

The original soundtrack album, composed by Yuriko Kein, also premieres this week on music streaming services, courtesy of Bandai Namco Game Music.

"XEVIOUS" is a shooter released by NAMCO in 1982. Players pilot the Solvalou and face off with the Xevious forces. Defeat airborne enemies with the zapper, and terrestrial enemies with the blaster. This game also features 26 character types with their own codenames.
