The Outer Worlds 2 Official Soundtrack premieres on streaming platforms
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, action role-playing game The Outer Worlds 2 has launched for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, published by Xbox Game Studios.

The affluent Arcadia star system, home of skip drive technology, is engulfed in a factional war. The authoritarian Protectorate of Arcadia vies for control, challenged both by a hyper-capitalist megacorporate invasion and the rebellion of their religious order. As an agent of the Earth Directorate, the player's choices will shape the fate of the entire galaxy.

The Original Soundtrack is included in the Digital Premium Edition, with streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited.


Horizon Forbidden West co-composer Oleksa Lozowchuk served as principal composer and music director, in collaboration with musicians Interleave, Antonio Gradanti, Jim Bonney, and Juliette Jones.

"Fibonacci," "Give Me Your Hand" and "Boarst Rockets" have been treated to animated music videos, streaming on the Obsidian Entertainment YouTube channel. The most recent addition, "It's Auntie's Choice," is inspired by the original game's Spacer's Choice jingle by Justin E. Bell, featuring vocals by Jennifer Blackwell and Bank of Harmony.

The music director describes the game's soundtrack as "a space opera blending a symphonic/modern score, Broadway spectacle, and eclectic faction radio stations, all with 'serious craziness' thanks to Obsidian's inspiring canvas." A behind-the-scenes montage can be viewed on YouTube.
