Parisian developer Sloclap's cinematic Kung Fu brawler Sifu has now been treated to a two-disc vinyl soundtrack release, courtesy of Laced Records. Shipping from the publisher in London is estimated for September.

The deluxe double vinyl soundtrack, pressed on black and red heavyweight analog records, features 30 music tracks composed by Howie Lee. Sleeve artwork is by Sloclap, with art direction by Paul-Emile Boucher, and illustration by Servane Altermatt and Chen-Yang Hsu.

The analog record set also ships from distributors Light in the Attic in Seattle and Black Screen Records in Europe. Vinyl pre-mastering is by Joe Caithness. A behind-the-scenes video "The Sound of Sifu" is streaming on the PlayStation YouTube channel.

Sifu is available for Xbox One and Series X|S, PS4 and PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch consoles, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

From the product page:
To compose the original soundtrack of Sifu, we chose to work with Howie Lee, Beijing-based electronic music composer, for his very first collaboration on a video game. We felt that his use of traditional Chinese music inspirations along with more contemporary electronic elements would be a perfect fit for Sifu. Take a peek into our work on the music and the Sound of Sifu.
