Strictly Limited Games has opened preorders for the physical release of Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III. The platformer was first released for the NEC PC Engine on February 15th of 1991.

The sequel to Rainbow Islands and the third installment in the Bubble Bobble franchise stars Bubby and Bobby in their human form. The brothers are equipped with multipurpose parasols used as parachutes, or in repelling enemy characters.

The Special Limited Edition for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles ships with a game manual, translated guide, and the soundtrack album on a single compact disc. Music for the game is by Noriyuki Iwadare.

Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III is planned for release on PS4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch consoles, published by ININ Games.
