The twelve-track Octopath Traveler cover album "Break & Boost" is produced by series composer Yasunori Nishiki. Published five years ago, the album is available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

"Break & Boost" arrangements are split evenly between the piano renditions on the "Break side," performed by pianist Yuya Mori, along with the band covers of the "Boost side." Source material on the compilation includes Nishiki's compositions "The Frostlands," "Determination" and "A Settlement in the Red Bluffs."

Just four months after the release, arrangers Nishiki and Mori delivered a followup album. "Octopath Traveler Arrangements Break & Boost -Extend" consists of seven additional arrangements recorded at Sound City studio in Tokyo. The compilation is bookended by an eight-minute character theme medley and vocal track "Beyond: Main Theme" performed by Mayu Wakisaka. "Extend" ships separately on compact disc from the Square Enix online store in North America.
