The classic game compilation includes arcade game Mortal Kombat (1992) together with the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, and Game Gear ports. Arcade game Mortal Kombat II (1993) comes with Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis / 32X, and Game Boy ports. Both Mortal Kombat 3 (1995) arcade, Super Nintendo, and Genesis ports are represented alongside Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 arcade and Super Nintendo editions.
Also included: arcade game Mortal Kombat 4 (1997) and Game Boy Advance exclusives Mortal Kombat Advance (2001), Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002), and Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition (2003).

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will launch for PS4 and PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, along with Windows through Steam.
