The action-adventure role-playing game follows Kaser, a war orphan born in Slum Harbour. He is joined by Lord Arena, a symbiotically bonded alien-dragon warrior, on his quest to save his kind-natured younger sister, Louisa. Together they battle mysterious dimensional invaders posing a threat to all of humanity, known as the Voidrax. Main theme "Luminous" by Kingdom Hearts series composer Yoko Shimomura is performed by vocalist and co-lyricist Jillian Aversa.
Trek to Yomi music producer Cody Matthew Johnson scored the original nine-minute gameplay trailer, released in 2021. The music appears in-game within the Challenge Mode. A standalone EP, titled "Entropy Engine (Music from Lost Soul Aside Challenge Mode)," is planned for publication at a later date, produced and recorded by Emperia Records.
