Kid Dracula Famicom soundtrack flies onto Apple Music

8-bit Famicom platformer Kid Dracula made its English-language debut as part of the Konami Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection for Nintendo Switch, Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The lighthearted soundtrack to the comical platformer was composed in 1990 by Shinji Tasaka and Satoko Minami of the Konami Kukeiha Club sound team.

The score was remastered for vinyl for a limited edition release by Ship to Shore, packaged with poster by artist Austin James and liner notes by Jeremy Parish. The limited edition release flew off the shelves and is no longer in stock, but the 12-track, 18-minute digital soundtrack is available for streaming through the Apple Music platform.

From the product page:
Ship to Shore PhonoCo.’s second release in the Konami Kukeiha Club Museum Series is the soundtrack to the 1990 Famicom release 悪魔城すぺしゃる ぼくドラキュラくん, or Kid Dracula. Never released outside of Japan, the game takes a satirical look at the Castlevania franchise, casting the player as a childish version of Dracula as he battles through the castle fighting all sorts of outlandish enemies. The soundtrack takes the gothic, brooding Castlevania style and remixes it into a bouncy and playful melange of tunes.
